Low-level, binary, minimal but generic format used to organize and store Gesture and Motion Signals in a flexible and optimized way; gesture-related signals are used in computer graphics, computer music, animation, etc. The GMS format stores only the minimal features needed to represent movement and gesture information; these include flexible dimensionality for movements, flexible types of the encoded variables, versatile structuration, and spatial and temporal properties.
